About this opportunity
Imperial College London is pleased to announce the Lord Robert May Scholarship for the 2026/27 academic year. The scholarship has been established in honour of Lord Robert May of Oxford (1936–2020), one of the most influential theoretical ecologists of his generation. This scholarship is available to overseas students who have an offer to study either the MSc Living Planet with Computational Methods in Ecology and Evolution (within the Department of Life Sciences) or the MSc Epidemiology (within the School of Public Health), beginning in autumn 2026. The two successful scholars will have their tuition fees paid in full and receive a stipend for living costs equating to £22,041 per annum. Applicants are ranked on the basis of academic merit (using their College application), their academic achievements and motivation for pursuing a Master's degree, and financial need. Applicants are required to submit two written statements as part of their application: a statement on their academic achievements and motivation for pursuing a Master's in their chosen field, and a statement attesting to their financial need and how this scholarship would assist them in achieving success in their studies.
