About this opportunity
The Lord's Taverners Seawind Catamaran Indigenous Scholarship supports Australian Indigenous students who are residents in northern New South Wales and are overcoming disadvantaged backgrounds to succeed at university study. The scholarship is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are enrolled either full-time or part-time at Southern Cross University, studying any undergraduate or postgraduate degree. The scholarship provides financial support totaling approximately $15,000 over 3 years. Candidates must demonstrate resilience, achievement and/or success while overcoming pressures, hardship or disadvantage. Selection is based on evaluation of responses to scholarship application questions, particularly the introductory statement outlining why they are applying for the scholarship and what they hope to achieve through completion of their chosen degree.
