The M.A. and D.E. Breckenridge Graduate Awards

The M.A. and D.E. Breckenridge Graduate Awards provide a scholarship of at least $2,000 to an outstanding full or part-time continuing graduate student in the Faculty of Education at the University of Victoria. The award recognizes students who completed a course in the summer immediately preceding the fall nomination deadline. Selection of the recipient is made by the Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the Faculty of Education. The minimum requirement for consideration is normally an A- average, and awards are assigned based on nominations from eligible academic units rather than direct applications. This is an internal award for continuing graduate students demonstrating outstanding academic performance in the education field.
