About This Opportunity

The Malam Fund provides grants of up to £1,000 to organisations that provide social activities for older people or those suffering from social isolation. The fund is administered by The Community Foundation for Staffordshire and prioritizes project costs and event costs over equipment or core costs. Eligible organizations include constituted community groups, voluntary groups, registered charities, and social enterprises that have been established for at least 12 months with a proven track record. The fund supports activities that increase or enhance current service provision, improve organizational efficiency and sustainability, or improve facilities for service users. Organizations must be based in or working for the benefit of people in specific areas including Stoke-on-Trent, parts of Staffordshire Moorlands (Biddulph, Leek, and Cheadle only), and Kidsgrove in Newcastle under Lyme.
