About this opportunity
The Marion Walton Scholarship in Psychological Science was established in 2025 by Marion Walton, a graduate of Te Herenga Waka—Victoria University of Wellington with both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Psychology degree. The scholarship is intended to support students interested in pursuing a Master's degree in Cognitive and Behavioural Neuroscience, Forensic Psychology or Clinical Psychology. The scholarship provides financial support of NZD $12,000 to students facing financial hardship who demonstrate academic merit. Recipients must be enrolled or intending to enrol in a Master's degree programme in Psychological Science at Victoria University of Wellington, with a focus on one of the three specified areas. The scholarship is offered biennially (every two years) if the recipient is undertaking a Master's by Coursework and Thesis, or annually if the recipient is undertaking a Master's by Thesis.
