The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Ashesi

The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at Ashesi University is a comprehensive scholarship opportunity that has been in partnership with Ashesi since 2012. The program covers all fees and costs for room and board as well as learning resources for students. As students at Ashesi, Mastercard Foundation Scholars receive additional socio-economic support to successfully transition into the university and subsequently into successful careers. Scholars are expected to serve as role models for their communities across Africa as students and alumni. An integral component of the program is the expectation for students to give back to their communities through volunteer and community service opportunities. Recipients join both Ashesi's alumni network spanning more than 40 countries worldwide and the program's pan-African scholar-alumni network, providing life-long connections and opportunities for learning, growth, and impact.
