The Maureen De Burgh Memorial Scholarship

The Maureen De Burgh Memorial Scholarship is awarded to graduate students of high academic standing working in the field of marine biology at the University of Victoria. One or more scholarships are available each year. The award is to be made on the recommendation of the Department of Biology to the Faculty of Graduate Studies, Graduate Awards Committee. The scholarship recognizes academic excellence in marine biology research at the graduate level. Recipients must normally maintain a minimum requirement of an A- average and meet any additional criteria established by the donor. Awards are assigned based on nominations from eligible academic units, and unless otherwise noted, students must be enrolled full-time in graduate studies.
