The May Yuen Memorial Scholarship

The May Yuen Memorial Scholarship is awarded to graduate students enrolled in a master's or PhD program at the University of Victoria whose research is related to China or Overseas Chinese. The scholarship is intended to support graduate student research with a focus on Chinese or Overseas Chinese studies. Approval of recipients is made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the Department of Pacific and Asian Studies. The award amount varies and no application is required as nominations are made by eligible academic units. Recipients must normally maintain an A- average and meet any additional criteria established by the donor.
