The Megan S. Daley Scholarship

The Megan S. Daley Scholarship was established in memory of Megan Daley, who graduated from UMass with a degree in Journalism in 2006 and worked as managing editor of SAP Insider Magazine before her death in 2013. She wrote for the Daily Collegian during her time at UMass and was passionate about journalism. This memorial scholarship supports journalism students from Massachusetts who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need. The scholarship honors Megan's legacy by supporting the next generation of journalism professionals who aspire to make a positive difference in the world through their work. Recipients are selected based on their journalism major status, Massachusetts residency, minimum 3.3 GPA, demonstrated financial need, and their vision for contributing positively to the field of journalism.
