About this opportunity

The Meriden Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist residents of Meriden, Connecticut who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs after high school graduation. Renewable merit-based scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student's choice. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin. The scholarship program is administered by Scholarship America and is made possible through multiple named scholarship funds including the George A. Clark Scholarship Fund, the Mildred O. and Paul Lyons Scholarship Fund, and several others. Applications are accepted through an annual window, with the current deadline being March 4, 2026.
