About This Opportunity

The Michael Bannigan Scholarship for the Double Bass provides financial support to students at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Established in 2003 from the estate of Michael Lindsay Bannigan, this scholarship assists outstanding undergraduate students to undertake studies in double bass at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit and/or portfolio and/or performance. Preference is given to applicants proceeding from the Conservatorium High School to a bachelor degree. The scholarship value and duration will be determined by the Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and stipulated in the Scholarship Offer Letter to successful recipients. No application is necessary as eligible students will be considered automatically as part of their admission application to the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
