About This Opportunity

The Molly Brown Memorial Scholarship supports students studying music at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music who have experienced financial hardship and are from a low socio-economic background. This scholarship is in honour of the remarkable and compassionate life of the late Molly Brown, a single mother of two children who overcame socio-economic hardships through tireless dedication to ensuring a better future for her family. Her generosity of spirit lives on with her scholarship empowering students to fully engage in their musical education as they unlock their artistic potential. The scholarship is valued at $25,000 per annum for up to four years, with $7,800 per annum towards academic fees and $17,200 per annum as a cash payment.
