About this opportunity
The National Scholarship Program is the University of Toronto's most prestigious award for Canadian high school students entering the university. It recognizes original and creative thinkers, community leaders and high academic achievers. The program covers tuition, incidental and residence fees for up to four years of study at U of T. National Scholars demonstrate outstanding academics, creative thinking, broad achievement and a deep commitment to their school and community. Each Canadian high school may nominate one student per year through the National Book Award process. Approximately 25 finalists are invited to participate in virtual selection interviews, with approximately 15 finalists designated as National Scholars. Runners-up receive Arbor Scholarships valued at $7,500 in the first year and $1,500 per year for three additional years.
