The Northern Ireland Geotechnical Group (NIGG) Prize

The Northern Ireland Geotechnical Group (NIGG), a special interest group of the Institution of Civil Engineers, sponsors an annual award for the best performance in Geotechnics 3. This prize is awarded to the undergraduate student who demonstrates the highest level of achievement in the Geotechnics 3 course at Queen's University Belfast's School of Natural and Built Environment. The award recognizes excellence in geotechnical engineering education and is part of the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences funding opportunities. One prize is awarded annually to the top-performing student in this specialized area of civil engineering.
