About This Opportunity

The Orion Fund awards grants to California college students with serious illness or injury. Grants are awarded to cover uncovered medical expenses incurred during a medical crisis, limited medical costs going forward to support recovery from a medical event (short term only), educational costs when associated with recovery from a medical event, and living expenses when associated with recovery from a medical event. The program is designed for college students age 32 and under who have a serious medical condition affecting their ability to stay in school. Please note that The Orion Fund does not cover tuition costs or provide basic financial aid. Eligible applicants must have a serious medical condition affecting their ability to stay in college, attend a California College Institution, and be 32 years old or younger.
