About this opportunity
The Peter Farley Award provides £6,000 each to 2 Home students for maintenance and living expenses. Recipients must be accepted on the BA (Hons) Theatre Design at Wimbledon College of Arts, UAL. The award is generously supported by the estate of Peter Farley, who was a theatre designer, exhibition curator, academic and teacher. Peter's career embraced a wide range of different areas of design and performance, and he was an inspirational teacher. The award is presented alongside the Peter Farley Internship, a year-long part-time internship with professional theatre design studio Good Teeth. This combined support was established to help graduating students transition into the theatre design industry after graduation, assisting with costs associated with gaining professional experience during their first year post-graduation. Recipients must be enrolled in the final year of the full-time BA (Hons) Theatre Design course, starting in September 2025 and graduating in June 2026, and must demonstrate strong model-making, research and technical drawing skills.
