About This Opportunity

The Pinnacle Women in Finance Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship provided by Pinnacle Investment Management to address gender disparities in investment management. The scholarship is valued at $10,000 per annum and is tenable for two years, providing up to $20,000 total support for exceptional second-year female students enrolled full-time in the Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, a personal statement demonstrating interest in a career in finance or investment management, and an interview. Preference is given to students who can demonstrate financial hardship. Recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 75 each semester to continue receiving the scholarship. Non-financial benefits include access to tutoring provided by the Scholarship's Tutorial Fund. The scholarship is designed to support and encourage women pursuing careers in finance and investment management, fields where gender disparities continue to exist. It is awarded annually to female students who have completed their first year of the Bachelor of Commerce (or combined degrees including Commerce) and are entering their second year.
