About this opportunity
The Pocknall NZIF Conference Attendance Award provides financial support for postgraduate students or early-career professionals in the New Zealand forest industry to attend the NZIF Conference. The award is designed to assist those who do not have other direct financial support for conference attendance. Selection considers how attending the conference will benefit the applicant personally and professionally, the relevance of their work or study to New Zealand forestry and conference themes, demonstrated financial need, and the overall quality of the application. Recipients receive $1,000 to cover conference registration, events, travel, accommodation, and other related costs. Award recipients also have the opportunity to meet with the award donor at the conference, providing valuable networking and mentorship opportunities.
