About This Opportunity
The Prince/Petrik Family Scholarship is awarded to full-time undergraduate students accepted to Eastern Illinois University who are graduates of Brother Rice High School (Chicago, IL) or Mount Vernon Township High School (Mount Vernon, IL). Initial recipients must be incoming first-year students with an overall high school GPA of at least 3.2. The scholarship is renewable for one additional year provided recipients continue to meet all criteria and maintain an overall GPA of 3.2 at EIU. Financial need may be used as a consideration in the selection process. The award is announced in the Spring and paid in the Fall semester.
