The Prize in Foundations of Medicine AnatBioPhys Year 2

The Prize in Foundations of Medicine AnatBioPhys Year 2 is awarded annually to the candidate who obtains the highest mark in a Foundations of Medicine AnatBioPhys Year 2 prize examination. A certificate is also offered for the second highest mark. The examination covers the entire course material from First Year Direct Entry Foundations of Medicine modules (FM1010, FM1020, FM1030, FM1040) and Second Year Direct Entry Foundations of Medicine modules (FM2101, FM2102). Candidates must be registered as Second Year direct entry medical students at University College Cork during the current session, with aggregate marks among the top 10% of the class in the specified modules. The prize consists of a medal and certificate, awarded only when high merit has been demonstrated.
