The Psychology Centre Scholarship in Clinical Practice

The Psychology Centre Scholarship in Clinical Practice is designed to support students pursuing advanced training in clinical psychology at the University of Waikato. This scholarship recognizes academic excellence among students enrolled in the Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology (Clinical). Two scholarships of $7,500 each are awarded annually to deserving candidates who demonstrate strong academic performance in their postgraduate studies. The scholarship aims to assist students in their first or second year of the program who have achieved at least a B grade-point-average in their most recent 120 points of study. For second-year students, this academic standard must also be met in their first-year Postgraduate Diploma of Psychology papers where relevant. This funding opportunity supports the development of skilled clinical psychology practitioners in New Zealand.
