The Pye Foundation Fund

The Pye Foundation Fund supports charitable organisations in the CB and PE postcodes and Lowestoft. The fund is particularly interested in supporting STEM education, either through state funded educational establishments or charitable organisations which support students aged 5-19. The fund also looks to support projects that preserve the Pye name and its place in the history of science and technology in East Anglia. The fund offers unrestricted and multi-year funding (up to 3 years). Established in 2025 through the transfer of assets from the Pye Foundation to Cambridgeshire Community Foundation, the fund continues the philanthropic legacy of Pye Radio Ltd, which was founded by William George Pye in 1896 and grew to become a major employer known for innovative radio receivers.
