About this opportunity
The Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences (FAFS) at the American University of Beirut is offering up to full tuition scholarships to undergraduate students who are newly admitted to the undergraduate program of Agricultural Sciences. The Raji and Fawzieh Sinno scholarship program is designed for merit students and aims to foster leaders and agents of change in the field of Agriculture at FAFS. The scholarship is designated for prospective students who meet the criteria considering their grades, leadership skills, extracurricular activities and community involvement.
Awardees will be granted up to full tuition scholarships covering either three or four years of study at FAFS|AUB. Performance will be monitored to ensure that recipients continue to retain good academic standing throughout the period covered. Students who do not maintain good academic standing may be dropped from the scholarship program.
In addition to financial support, scholarship recipients will be paired with a mentor for guidance and support needed to develop as future leaders. They will also be placed as undergraduate research assistants in a lab related to their major. The scholarship is limited to the Agricultural Sciences Program only and is available for Fall or Spring admission of the academic year.

Applications are reviewed based on grades, leadership skills, extracurricular activities and community involvement. Shortlisted candidates are contacted for interviews in June for Fall applications or January for Spring applications.
