About this opportunity
The Raymond Hsu Scholarship supports postgraduate research students in Chinese studies, literature or linguistics in the final stage of their studies at the University of Sydney. Established in 2013 from a bequest by the late Eulalia Sau-Kuen Hsu, this scholarship provides financial support to students enrolled in a Master of Arts (Research), Master of Philosophy or Doctor of Philosophy in Chinese Studies through the School of Languages and Cultures. The scholarship is awarded based on academic excellence, research progress, and research achievement. Recipients must be in the final stage of their candidature and on track to submit their thesis within the normal degree period. The scholarship provides $10,000 for full-time students or $5,000 for part-time students, paid in a single instalment after the census date. This award helps students focus on completing their research during the critical final stages of their postgraduate studies in Chinese studies, literature, or linguistics.
