About This Opportunity

The Reid and Colleen Docherty Scholarship in Health Related Research provides financial assistance to a PhD student conducting health-related research in chemistry or biochemistry at the University of Sydney. This postgraduate research scholarship is established by a gift from the Reid W Docherty Bequest. The scholarship provides a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend rate for up to 3.5 years, subject to satisfactory academic performance. Recipients must be Australian citizens or permanent residents enrolled full-time in a PhD within the School of Chemistry, Faculty of Science. The scholarship follows the Research Training Program (RTP) application process and is awarded based on academic merit and the area of study/research proposal. The scholarship cannot be held concurrently with an RTP or equivalent primary stipend scholarship.
