The Reid Family Scholarship - Widening Participation

University of Stirling Original Source

About This Opportunity

The Reid Family Scholarship supports Scottish students from Widening Participation backgrounds to help with the financial pressures of living costs and tuition fees. The program awards both undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships to students who are the first generation in their family to attend higher education and come from designated widening participation backgrounds. A small number of scholarships are awarded each year from available funds, which may include undergraduate awards, postgraduate taught awards, or postgraduate research awards. Tuition fees are not included in undergraduate scholarships as they are paid by the Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS), but tuition fees are included in postgraduate and PhD scholarships. Living costs for all scholarships are paid up to the stated amount. Students are normally supported for the normal duration of their studies, subject to the donor's discretion and satisfactory performance and attendance.
