About this opportunity
The Richard and Doreen Wilson Organ Travelling Scholarship supports organ students at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music who undertake overseas studies for organ tuition and related studies. Established in 2012 from the estate of Richard Sidney Wilson, this scholarship provides financial assistance to young people pursuing advanced organ studies internationally while being enrolled at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, performance presentation, or project proposal including a projected budget for overseas travel. For postgraduate research applicants, the scholarship may also be awarded based on research achievements and potential. The scholarship value and duration are determined by the Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music on a case-by-case basis.
