About this opportunity
The Richard Tagart Scholarship provides selected undergraduate students with £5,000 per annum, paid in three termly instalments. This award can be renewed for the duration of the recipients' studies (usually 3 or 4 years) subject to satisfactory academic progress. The late Richard Tagart very kindly made arrangements during his lifetime to provide a legacy to the University of Kent in order to support undergraduate students in need throughout their studies. This scholarship is open to all full-time applicants in any academic discipline who are UK residents paying Home tuition fees. Successful recipients must demonstrate financial need and satisfy a range of socio-economic criteria, and are expected to act as ambassadors for the University, their subject and faculty, attending University events when requested.
