About this opportunity
The R.J.W. Le Fevre Research Travelling Scholarship supports female research students within the School of Chemistry to present a paper or poster related to their research at a major international conference. Established in 1993, this scholarship is funded by donations from Dr Catherine G Le Fevre, widow of Emeritus Professor RJW Le Fevre, who was Head of the School of Chemistry from 1946 to 1970. The scholarship aims to support outstanding postgraduate research students by providing funding to enable them to present their research findings at international academic conferences. Applicants must be enrolled in a Masters by Research or PhD within the School of Chemistry at the University of Sydney and must be presenting a paper or poster at an academic international conference scheduled between July 1 and June 30 of the award period. The scholarship value is determined by the selection committee based on the strength of the application.
