About this opportunity
This scholarship provides financial support to female Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students undertaking studies in the Faculty of Health Sciences or University of Sydney Law School. Established in 2018, the scholarship has been generously donated by Mr William and Mrs Karen Robinson. The award is rotated between the two faculties on an annual basis with the advertisement indicating the faculty for which the award is available in that academic year. The scholarship is tenable for the full-time duration of the student's degree up to a maximum of four years, providing $20,000 per annum paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester. Recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 60 each semester to continue receiving the scholarship. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit by the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Education) on the recommendation by a selection committee consisting of Deputy Vice Chancellor (Indigenous Strategy and Services), and/or their nominated delegates.
