About this opportunity
The Royal Society Te Apārangi Manawatū Branch Bursary is designed for students on the Manawatū campus who are enrolled in the Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts and who are facing financial hardship. The bursary provides $1,000 NZD to support undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need and maintain a B grade average or better in their studies. The Manawatū Branch of the Royal Society Te Apārangi was formed on 29 June 1904 as the Manawatu Philosophical Society and has a long history of supporting education and scientific advancement in the region. This undergraduate bursary is awarded annually to one deserving student who is a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident and is enrolled at the Manawatū campus in either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science program.
