About This Opportunity
The Royal Theatrical Fund's Emergency Crisis Grant is a one-off grant designed to help theatre professionals facing financial emergencies who are not affected by illness or injury and do not fall under the usual remit of The RTF. The grant aims to provide essential support to keep food on the table, ease fuel crises to keep recipients warm, maintain phone connectivity, purchase essential school uniforms and white goods, and if possible, help maintain housing stability. The program is specifically targeted at helping individuals who cannot meet their essential needs due to unforeseen changes in their circumstances. Applications are processed on an ad hoc basis. Credit card and non-essential loan debts are not considered for this grant. The program requires applicants to have worked professionally in the theatre industry for at least 7 years, with their main income coming from this sector (including professional training), and to be based in the UK with a UK bank account.
