The Rudy and Flora Baker Scholarship in Medicine

The Rudy and Flora Baker Scholarship in Medicine is awarded from investment income earned by the Rudy and Flora Baker Scholarship in Medicine Fund, established by the Estate of Rudy Baker. This scholarship supports Canadian medical students who graduated from high schools in the Battle River Area. Strong preference is given to applicants entering their first year of studies, with additional preference for those with community service experience, those considering a career in rural medicine, and graduates from The Battle River School Division. The scholarship aims to support future physicians with ties to the Battle River community in pursuing their medical education.
