The School of Pharmacy Prize for Excellence in Pharmaceutical Chemistry

This prize is awarded by University College Cork to recognize outstanding academic achievement in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. The prize is valued at €500 and is awarded to the student with the best results in Pharmaceutical Chemistry aggregated over the first three years of the BPharm degree. The prize specifically covers performance in modules PF1009, PF2012, PF2013, and PF3016. To be eligible, students must have attained a pass in all modules with no compensation permitted in any of these modules. Exams must be taken at the Summer Examination, and students must have taken the examination for the first time and at the first opportunity. Exceptionally, students taking the examinations for the first time at any Supplemental Examination due to illness, injury, or other mitigating circumstances will be eligible for the prize. In the event of a tie between two or more qualified students, the total amount of the prize will be divided equally among them.
