The School of Pharmacy Prize for Excellence in Pharmaceutical Chemistry

This prize is awarded by the School of Pharmacy at University College Cork to recognize outstanding academic achievement in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. The prize is given to the student with the best aggregated results in Pharmaceutical Chemistry over the first three years of the BPharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) degree program. The modules considered include PF1009, PF2012, PF2013, and PF3016. To be eligible, students must attain a pass in all required modules with no compensation permitted. Examinations must be taken at the Summer Examination session, and students must be sitting the exam for the first time at the first available opportunity. An exception is made for students who take examinations at the Supplemental Examination due to illness, injury, or other mitigating circumstances. In the event of a tie between two or more qualified students, the total prize amount will be divided equally among them.
