The Social Impact Scholarship (MBA)

The Social Impact Scholarship is a tuition fee scholarship established in 2015 by the University of Sydney Business School to support outstanding students and promote academic excellence within the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. The scholarship covers tuition fees for two units of study (12 credit points) in the MBA, with one unit covered in the first semester and the second unit in the second semester. The scholarship is awarded based on prior academic merit and a personal statement that demonstrates leadership capability, ambassadorial potential with outstanding communication skills, and motivation to succeed in business in a socially responsible way. Recipients must demonstrate a commitment to applying MBA learning to make a positive difference to professional life and business practice. No separate application is required, as applicants for the Future Leaders MBA Scholarship are automatically considered for this award. Recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark of 65 in the first semester to continue receiving the scholarship. Recipients are also invited to promote the MBA Program and represent the University of Sydney Business School at marketing events and corporate networking events.
