About This Opportunity
The Solwaybank Windfarm Community Benefit Fund provides financial support for projects and initiatives that support rural regeneration and sustainability of communities within the Solwaybank Windfarm area in Scotland. The fund receives an annual contribution of at least £60,000 (index-linked) from Solwaybank Energy Ltd, with a total expected funding of £1.5 million over the windfarm's lifetime. Applications are welcomed that enhance quality of life for local residents, contribute to vibrant and healthy communities, and promote community spirit. Match funding of at least 10% is normally required, though projects with higher match funding are preferred.
