About this opportunity
Established in 2016 by a generous gift from the Steglick family, the Steglick Indigenous Women's Scholarship aims to enhance the educational and health services available to Indigenous communities in remote, rural and regional areas. The scholarship's purpose is to support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander women who are undertaking teaching/education and/or health studies at Western Sydney University. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, and a personal statement to describe how studies in the fields of teaching/education/and/or health would fulfil the aims of this scholarship. Preference will be given to applicants from rural/regional/remote areas.
