The Steiner Foundation Scholarship

David and Patricia Steiner established The Steiner Foundation in 1999 with one of its pursuits being to support higher education. Since 2000, the foundation has awarded scholarships to Okanogan County seniors continuing their post-secondary education in STEM related studies. Through the Foundation, they have now formed The Steiner Foundation Scholarship fund at the Community Foundation of North Central Washington to expand support for graduating seniors from Okanogan County who are seeking further education in accredited trade or technical programs. The scholarship is designed to help students pursue vocational and technical education beyond high school. Scholarship disbursement is made after the student is fully enrolled for the second semester or quarter, or a quarter of the way through the program if it does not run on a semester or quarter system.
