About this opportunity
This scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to PhD students undertaking cancer research that aligns with priority areas and the strategy of the Sydney Cancer Partners. The scholarship is funded by a grant from the Cancer Institute New South Wales and supports research projects focused on cancer research, addressing clinically relevant questions, sponsored by multidisciplinary cancer care teams, with strong translational components or implementation science basis, in areas of strength of the University of Sydney. Three scholarships are available to domestic PhD students who must be supervised by an academic member of Sydney Cancer Partners. The research must address clinically relevant questions and have strong translational or implementation science foundations, ensuring the work contributes meaningfully to cancer care and treatment advancement.
