About This Opportunity

The Teacher Education Scholarship (Wenona) has been established to offer students a unique opportunity to work at a leading Independent School within the Greater Sydney area. The scholarship will be awarded to a student with an excellent academic record who will contribute to the curricular and co-curricular life of Wenona School. Recipients spend one day per week at the school and complete an unpaid internship, receiving guidance from a mentor teacher while participating in academic, pastoral and co-curricular activities. The scholarship is available to final-year teaching students enrolled full-time at the University of Sydney's School of Education and Social Work, studying either primary or secondary education. This opportunity provides practical teaching experience at a leading independent school while receiving financial support during the final year of study.
