About This Opportunity

This scholarship supports Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students who are going on international exchange. Established in 2009, the University of Sydney Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Exchange Scholarships are awarded to students who have been accepted into the International Exchange Program through Study Abroad. The scholarship provides financial support to enable Indigenous students to participate in semester-long exchange programs at international partner institutions. No application is required, as all eligible students will be automatically considered for this scholarship. Recipients must identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person as defined in the University of Sydney's Confirmation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Identity Policy 2015, be enrolled in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework or research course at the University of Sydney, and have been accepted into a semester long Exchange Program through Study Abroad.
