About this opportunity
This Scholarship was established to provide financial assistance to students who are studying a Master of Public Health at the University of Sydney and experiencing hardship and/or disadvantage. The scholarship is valued at $7,500 and is tenable for one full-time semester, with the value paid directly towards the student's tuition fees. Applicants must have experienced at least one of the following types of hardship and/or disadvantage: financial hardship, from a non-English speaking background, long-term difficult family circumstances, from a rural or isolated area, or identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person. The scholarship will be awarded based on academic merit, application for admission to the Master of Public Health degree, demonstrated evidence of hardship and/or disadvantage, a cover letter outlining the applicant's relative hardship and/or disadvantage, and a curriculum vitae. For part-time students, the amount awarded will be 50% of the full-time rate and will cover one semester.
