The University of Waikato Academic Pathway Doctoral Scholarship

The University of Waikato Academic Pathway Doctoral Scholarship is specifically designed for Māori and/or Pacific students who are pursuing pathways into academic careers. This scholarship supports full-time doctoral study undertaken at universities other than the University of Waikato. The program aims to expose recipients to different ways of thinking and facilitate collaboration with academics from other institutions, ensuring that scholarship holders will be competitive for positions on academic staff. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support including an annual stipend of NZ$40,000 plus coverage of domestic tuition fees and other associated fees.
