About This Opportunity

The Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation has established a long-term postdoctoral fellowship program at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. The purpose of the program is to bring outstanding young Swedish scientists to NTU for two years of postdoctoral research and studies. The program is open for all disciplines at NTU. The Postdoctoral Fellows are given the opportunity to participate in a broad range of interdisciplinary activities and programs that characterize NTU's approach to research and education. After completing their postdoctoral visit, the Fellows will be supported upon their return to Sweden and use their experience from NTU for the benefit of Sweden. Successful candidates will be employed by NTU with an annual base salary starting at Singapore dollar (SGD) 70,000, plus a family cost or cost of living allowance starting at SGD 30,000 and an annual research allowance of SGD 5,000 each year over their two-year fellowship.

Scientific merit adjusted to the applicant's age will be an important factor in the assessment. Applicants must have support letters from previous Swedish supervisors and detailed invitation letter from NTU Faculty.
