The Walter and Eliza Hall Trust Opportunity Scholarship in Education is valued at up to $30,000 and is designed to assist undergraduate education students who demonstrate financial need. The scholarship provides $10,000 per year and is tenable for the duration of the degree up to three years. Walter and Eliza Hall were active philanthropists, and following Walter's death, Eliza established the Walter and Eliza Hall Trust in 1912 as a charitable trust to assist those in need.
