University College London Original Source

About This Opportunity

The Watkins Bursary aims to enable UK domiciled students from low-income backgrounds to pursue an undergraduate degree at UCL. This bursary is specifically designed for students from disadvantaged backgrounds who hold an offer of admission to UCL to study for a full-time undergraduate programme. The award provides £2,500 per year for three years and is subject to satisfactory academic progress. The award is to cover maintenance costs. One award is available annually. The criterion for awarding the bursary is financial need and applicants will need to demonstrate this in the application. The Watkins Bursary is one of the schemes that make up the Undergraduate Funding and Access Awards (UGFA) at UCL.
