The Western NSW Local Health District Scholarship for Graduate Certificate Students

This scholarship provides financial support to registered nurses in the Western NSW Local Health District for Nurse Practitioner Pathways to study at the University of Sydney. Funded by Western NSW Local Health District, the scholarship was established in 2024 to support nurses pursuing graduate certificate programs in nursing specialties including clinical nursing, cancer and haematology nursing, emergency nursing, and intensive care nursing. The scholarship is awarded to applicants who meet the eligibility criteria by the Western NSW Local Health District and no application is required. Recipients must be employed as a Registered Nurse in the Western NSW Local Health District and be Australian citizens. The scholarship covers one year of study and is designed to support the professional development of nurses working in the Western NSW region.
