About This Opportunity
The Worldwide Scholarship is available to students applying to the University of St Andrews' Summer Academic Experience Courses (SAEC), specifically for the Cinema, Ideas and Society Course and the Sustainable Development Course. The scholarship provides financial support to academically excellent students who demonstrate financial need. The SAEC offers pupils from around the world the unique opportunity to experience courses taught in the Scottish academic tradition by current academic staff, while developing academic research and writing skills. Students receive a student ID card and free access to world-class facilities including the library and newly redeveloped sports centre. There is one full-funded tuition fee scholarship covering £6,850, and eight part-funded tuition fee scholarships (two covering £3,425 and six covering £1,141) for the duration of the SAEC programme. These scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence and demonstrated financial need.
