About This Opportunity
The Theatre and Community Change Scholarship is awarded to a continuing undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Alberta with superior academic achievement who has demonstrated accomplishment in using theatre for social change. Recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement in Drama courses that are engaged with applications of theatre in specific communities. Extra-curricular or thesis projects may also be taken into consideration provided theatre is being used to directly effect positive community change. This endowed scholarship was established by Professor Jan Selman and is administered through the Faculty of Arts.
