About this opportunity
The Theatre Scholarship at Concordia University Wisconsin is available to incoming students who have an interest in participating in the Theatre program. All scholarship students are encouraged to explore the individualized theatre major or theatre minor. Award recipients must participate in CUW Theatre's productions and are highly encouraged to take Theatre courses while enrolled at CUW. Students interested in a degree in Theatre (major or minor) may audition/interview for a larger scholarship. The scholarship requires a commitment to acting, stage managing/assistant stage managing, or working tech for one show per year, participating in at least one service project each year coordinated by CUWT, taking one Theatre course, and modeling Christian character on and off stage. Applicants interested in the Theatre Minor must complete all requirements associated with the Theatre minor or an Individualized Theatre major. Scholarship auditions are required for Minor-Level applicants and strongly encouraged for Participant-Level Applicants, consisting of two contrasting one-minute monologues and an optional 32-bar cut of a musical theatre song.
